Ingredients
  

1 lb Chicken of the Woods mushroom, cleaned and sliced into manageable pieces
2 tbsp olive oil or butter (for frying)
2 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp smoked paprika
1 tsp dried thyme
Salt and black pepper, to taste
Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Juice of half a lemon (optional, for extra flavor)

Method
 

Prepare the Mushroom: Clean the Chicken of the Woods mushroom thoroughly by brushing off any dirt and slicing it into bite-sized pieces.
    Heat the Pan: Add olive oil or butter to a large skillet over medium heat.
      Sauté Garlic: Add minced garlic to the pan, stirring for about a minute until it becomes fragrant.
        Cook the Mushrooms: Add the sliced Chicken of the Woods to the skillet, stirring to coat them in the oil and garlic. Cook for 5-7 minutes until the edges become slightly golden brown.
          Season the Mushrooms: Sprinkle smoked paprika, thyme, salt, and pepper over the mushrooms. Stir to evenly distribute the seasonings and cook for another 5-7 minutes until tender.
            Add Lemon Juice and Garnish: Squeeze a bit of lemon juice over the cooked mushrooms for a tangy flavor, and sprinkle fresh parsley on top as a garnish.
